Joe began his career at New England Financial Group in 1987, after graduating from Boston University with a bachelor of science degree in finance. Today, Joe is a frequent lecturer of financial literacy and has extensive experience helping families with financial planning, including those with special needs.

Joe is committed to helping his local community through charitable support. He has served on the board of directors of the Monmouth Mental Health Association as well as a past president of the MHA Foundation. He is also the co-creator and primary instructor for Money Camp, a program offered each summer at Brookdale Community College focused on financial literacy and success principles for children ages 12–16.

Joe resides in Monmouth County with his wife, Laurie, and their two children.
